Case
From a slow WordPress site to the top of the map in three months
We rebuilt their WordPress site as a static build and, in three months, reached the first page of Google's map for «coches de boda en Córdoba» and «Écija» and ChatGPT's recommendations.

The starting point
Royal Wedding hires out luxury cars for weddings and events across the Córdoba and Écija area. The brief was the most honest kind you can get: it wanted to rank and be visible online. It had the product; it didn’t have anyone finding it.
The site it started from was a heavy WordPress install. It loaded, but it was the kind of site neither a search engine nor a conversational assistant bothers to recommend: slow, with no semantic structure and not a single machine-readable clue about what the company did or where it operated.
What we did
We rebuilt the site from scratch as a bespoke static build, with images optimised at build time. The performance jump over the old WordPress is not decoration: speed and a clean structure are the foundation everything else runs on.
The technical rule was the same one we apply to our own house: don’t send the browser a single line of framework JavaScript the page doesn’t need. Interactivity is reserved for the handful of islands that genuinely require it, and a small server-side script handles the contact form. It’s the bare minimum, not one dependency more. Refusing those pieces where they’re the right tool would be dogma, not engineering: what we avoid is framework weight dragged along unused, not the technology that does the job.
On that foundation we worked the two surfaces where a booking is decided today, because the same good work feeds both:
- Local. We tidied the map presence —business listing, categories and service area— and aligned the site’s content with the real searches a couple in the area makes.
- Generative (GEO). JSON-LD markup of the organisation and the service, explicit access for language-model crawlers, and content written as direct answers, which is what these systems extract and cite.
All of it within a tight three-month plan.
The outcome
By the end of the three months, «coches de boda en Córdoba» and «coches de boda en Écija» returned Royal Wedding on the first page of Google’s map. And when ChatGPT was asked to recommend firms for luxury wedding cars in Córdoba, it named the company among the five it mentions.
These figures deserve a cool head, like every figure in this house. A ChatGPT recommendation is a sampled indicator, not a census: it’s checked periodically against a fixed set of queries, and there is no exact metric today for appearances in AI answers. And in traditional organic search the work is still under way: for those same terms the domain sits on the third page and climbing. Organic ranking is slower than the map, and the honest thing is to say where it stands rather than show only what already shines.

The proof, not the promise
