Who’s behind ekko?
A small web engineering studio. Small on purpose: the model rests on genuinely studying each business, and that doesn’t scale to thirty simultaneous projects.
Why a studio like this exists
The web design market has split in two. At the bottom, tools that let anyone publish something respectable in an afternoon. At the top, consultancies whose management structure costs more than the development itself.
In between sits a company that invoices through its website and needs neither a template nor a committee: it needs someone to understand how it makes money and build the tool that does it better. That gap is ours.
What digital craft means
That every platform is designed and programmed from scratch for a specific business. There’s no library of blocks reused between clients, no base theme with the colours swapped. It’s slower and dearer, and it’s exactly why the result looks like no one else’s.
The honest trade-off is that this model isn’t for everyone. If your website is an informational shopfront no one uses to decide a purchase, this investment isn’t justified and there are excellent providers in lower bands.
About this very site
It’s built with the same thing we sell: static architecture, zero framework JavaScript, a bespoke design system derived from the logo, complete structured data and a manifest for language models generated on every build.
Open it in the developer tools. It’s the only calling card we think is worth anything.

Four commitments we’d rather put in writing before you ask.
We say no
If your project fits an €800 template better, we’ll tell you in the first conversation. Charging five thousand for something that isn’t worth it is the fastest way never to work with someone again.
What’s yours is yours
Your content, brand, data and domain are yours, and the platform can be hosted wherever you like. We don’t build cages: no closed panels, no services that tie you down, and the relationship holds because it delivers, not because you have no choice.
Figures or silence
We don’t publish results we can’t back with a screenshot. We’d rather have one case fewer on the site than a number that won’t survive an awkward question.
No smoke and mirrors with AI
We put in place the conditions that make it possible for a model to cite our clients. We don’t guarantee it will, because no one outside those labs can guarantee that.
