Why is my website slow to load, and how much is it costing me?
We measure Core Web Vitals with field data, identify which resources block rendering and estimate the conversion lost to every second of waiting.
Performance audit
A technical diagnostic of an existing platform: real user metrics, load waterfall, JavaScript weight and its link to the bounce rate. It is quoted according to scope and available access.
What is measured in a performance audit?
The three metrics Google uses to assess the loading experience and, above all, what sits behind them: what is downloaded, in what order and what blocks the browser in the meantime.
- Largest Contentful Paint: when the main element of the page appears.
- Interaction to Next Paint: how long the interface takes to respond to a click.
- Cumulative Layout Shift: how much the content moves while it loads.
What does one extra second cost?
It depends on the sector and the average order value, which is why the estimate is made with your own analytics data and not with a percentage lifted from someone else’s study. What is constant across every published study is the direction: the bounce rate rises with load time, and rises faster on mobile than on desktop.
Does the audit force a rebuild?
No, and in many cases it isn’t needed. A considerable share of performance problems is solved without touching the architecture: reordering how resources load, swapping image formats, removing third-party scripts no one consults any more or fixing the order of the fonts. The report clearly separates what can be fixed on the existing site from what only a rebuild solves.
What you get, exactly
Field data, not lab data
The metrics are taken from real users on their own devices and connections, not from a simulation on a development laptop over fibre. The gap between the two is usually several seconds.
Load waterfall broken down
Which resource blocks rendering, which third-party script delays interaction and which unoptimised image eats half the bandwidth. With concrete names and weights, not generic recommendations.
Prioritised by impact
Every finding is ranked by expected improvement against the effort it takes. The first three actions usually concentrate most of the gain available.
Valid for any technology
We audit WordPress, Shopify, Next.js or in-house builds. The scope and quote are adjusted to the platform, its integrations and the data available.
