What maintenance does a web platform need once it's live?

Technical maintenance contracted monthly or annually: monitoring, updates, support and an evolution-hours pool. Ongoing content and visibility are included only when they form part of the agreement.
Why does a static site need maintenance?
Because technical risk is only part of the problem. A static platform doesn’t fall over or get compromised through a server vulnerability, and there it beats a traditional install hands down. But it does age: content loses currency, competitors publish, search engines change their criteria and metrics degrade as pages and images are added.
What does maintaining a professional website cost in Spain?
Technical maintenance of a solid corporate platform starts at €900 a year, covering hosting, domain, certificates, updates and support. Content and ongoing visibility are taken out separately and start at €125 a month.
These are indicative minimums. The final proposal is tailored to the support, hours pool and publishing volume agreed, monthly or annually.
Can I take it out if someone else built the site?
Yes, after an audit. We need to see the code before committing to maintain it: there are projects whose upkeep cost exceeds that of rebuilding them, and in those cases the honest thing is to say so in the first conversation rather than bill an open-ended maintenance on a base that doesn’t hold.
